Global — A new report from Global SWF confirms that global sovereign wealth funds have reached a historic milestone, with total assets under management climbing to $15 trillion, marking the highest level ever recorded.
The surge is primarily driven by strong global market recoveries, improved economic conditions, and aggressive investment strategies focused on technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Analysts say the momentum signals growing confidence among sovereign investors worldwide.
By 2025, sovereign wealth funds are expected to collectively invest nearly $66 billion into AI and digital innovation as governments and investment authorities accelerate technological modernization.
