Significant whale activity was recorded over the last three hours, with major transfers involving Ethereum (ETH) and USDT moving across exchanges and large wallets. The transactions have drawn market attention as traders monitor short-term liquidity movements.
During this period, multiple transfers of 25,000 ETH, each valued at approximately $71โ72 million, were observed moving between exchanges such as Gemini and Bitfinex, as well as unknown wallets. These high-value ETH movements suggest active repositioning rather than retail-driven activity.
In addition, a large 272.4 million USDT transfer worth over $272 million was recorded moving from Bitfinex to the Tether Treasury. Analysts note that treasury-related stablecoin transfers are often linked to internal liquidity management and do not necessarily indicate immediate buying or selling pressure.
Market participants are closely watching whether these whale movements translate into increased exchange activity or remain part of internal fund reshuffling in the near term.
